Hello there! I'm Snigdha Jain, a UX/Product designer based in

San Francisco Bay Area, California. I'm currently studying MA in Interaction Design and Interactive Media at Cal State East Bay. I have 5+ years of UX Design Experience and am available to work full-time from July 2024 onwards.

I have always been fascinated by the intersection of technology and design, and over the years, I've developed a deep appreciation for the importance of user-centered design. My journey in design started with an undergrad degree in Fashion Communication, where I honed my skills in visual communication, typography, and layout design. However, as I delved deeper into the design field, I realized that my true passion lies in designing digital experiences that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and accessible.

As a designer, I take a holistic approach to my work, considering not just the visual aspects of a design but also the user's goals, needs, and emotions. I believe that design has the power to solve complex problems and enhance people's lives, and that's what drives me every day. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. My interest in robotics began during my college days when I was studying MA IxDIA. I was captivated by the endless possibilities of designing machines that could perform complex tasks and make our lives easier.

I have a passion for learning about the latest advancements in technology and its impact on our society, and I love to indulge this curiosity by watching tech documentaries in my spare time.

Some personal UX explorations

I started and ran the first-ever UX Design Club at CSUEB, where we really focused on building a community. We brought in some awesome speakers for design talks, organized fun social events, and set up meetups to help everyone connect. The goal was to create a space where Bay Area designers could come together, make connections, and form friendships as we all navigated the UX journey together. It was all about growing together and enjoying the journey!
